Embedded Engineering
ADI Embedded Engineering team excel in bridging the gap between innovative ideas and their practical implementation, with their pool of expert engineers and technologists providing cutting edge solutions to complex technical problems. Their skills span embedded hardware and software development, DSP and FPGA based implementation, system modeling and simulation. The team is led by George Bystryakov who has a background in electronics engineering, and experience of industry-based technology evaluation, feasibility studies, proof-of-concept prototyping and product implementation in a wide range of innovative projects in the data and image processing and high-speed communications.
The embedded engineering team are focusing on the latest technological advances in wireless communications, digital media, smart energy and telehealth.

- An FPGA based Gigabit modem for a point-to-point microwave link for telecommunication equipment provider,
- Massively parallel processing system for Galileo prototype receiver,
- A number of user interface, control and monitoring products for in-home energy management systems,
- A DSP based software-defined radio,
- A novel wireless communication protocol and a network of sensors forming covert surveillance system,
- Forensic watermarking of MPEG4 video streams for high value content.
