ADI brings together a wide range of highly skilled, experienced professionals. Each member of the team has a unique depth of insight in our own fields as well as an appreciation of each other’s work. We are widely recognised by our peers as significant practitioners in a global context.

ADI also benefits from an excellent administrative support team who co-ordinate and facilitate our resources efficiently.

John Eaglesham (CEO)

John joined ADI in 2007, after 9 years in  product delivery, engineering management,   and senior management positions at Pace, the set-top box company. John became Chief Executive of ADI in  2009. John has a BSc in Physics and an MSc in Electronic Systems Design. John contributes to several key industry and policy-making groups in the Assisted Living and Smart Metering sectors, and is  a member of the TSB’s Assisted Living Innovation Platform steering panel. He is also a qualified executive coach who works  with a number  of FTSE 100 company directors.

George Bystryakov

George Bystryakov who has a background in electronics engineering, is heading ADI’s engineering team. He joined ADI in 2006 after many years in embedded engineering, team leadership and project management roles leading technology evaluation, feasibility studies, proof-of-concept prototyping and product implementation in a wide range of innovative projects in the data and image processing and high-speed communications. His expertise in a variety of technologies and application domains helps him solve challenging technical problems. George has a degree in Electronics Engineering, and is a member of IET.

David Harson

David joined ADI in 2009 and leads ADI’s programme of commercial and public funded projects, including consortia of public and private sector partners. David is an experienced senior engineering manager with proven expertise in programme management, and project delivery. Prior to joining ADI David headed the IPTV and Retail engineering teams for Pace and has a background which includes the communications and aerospace sectors. David has commercial experience of building and leading effective multidiscipline, multi-site teams to deliver engineering and supply chain programmes. David is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, and is PRINCE2 practitioner qualified.

Andy Copsey

Andy joined ADI in 2009 bringing some 30+ years of industrial electronic design experience to add to the mix. He began with a degree and diploma in electronics from Hull University to which he has added spells spent in market sectors ranging from aircraft instrumentation, industrial plant control, through security systems, warehouse data capture and hi-end audio design. His core skill set includes system design, electronic analogue/digital design, embedded software and he has a keen eye for detail – enjoying a good challenge. He is (ever so) slightly bicycle mad and may occasionally be found enthusiastically encouraging others to join him in various escapes to the countryside.

Peter Tiley

Prior to joining ADI in 2008 Peter spent 10 years developing software applications within the defence and electronics industries. Physics simulations, real-world simulations, mathematical modelling, 3D visuals and artificial intelligence are some of the application areas covered while working on military flight simulators, ship mounted radar systems, aeronautical engineering tools and defence related research projects. Peter has contributed to a variety of embedded projects whilst at ADI, and is currently involved with wireless technologies and their applications in the home, particularly smart metering and home automation.

Nigel Dallard

Nigel joined ADI as Principal Technologist in March 2008. He has provided strategic technical advice to high-tech client companies on a number of telehealth-related projects, internet and smart-phone security, digital rights management on the internet, internet media streaming, forensic watermarking of audio-visual content, and security of PayTV systems. Nigel has a BSc in Electronic Engineering, and is a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. He is the named inventor or co-inventor of five international patents.

Stuart Morton

Stuart has knowledge, acquired through considerable practical experience, of a wide selection of embedded systems as well as IT technologies and systems. Stuart’s technical skills range from requirements analysis and strategy through to software design, coding and testing.A key part of Stuart’s roles has been related to the corporate needs of the business travelling to meet key senior customer staff in large projects. These meetings have taken place at all stages including pre sales engineering, project definition, project installation and post installation trouble shooting worldwide. He is able to communicate technical issues and strategy to non-IT personnel at all levels within an enterprise.

Graham DeAth

Graham joined the ADI team in July 2011 after 34 years in the telecommunications industry, the last 20 of which he spent in senior commercial and business development roles at Telefonica O2. Starting his career as a qualified engineer during his time at O2 he was involved in the development and adoption of many new wireless technologies and markets. He has joined ADI to continue his contribution to the development of the Assisted Living sector something he became involved in whilst working at O2 on the creation of the O2 Health business unit.

 

Huw Jones

Huw joined ADI in 2011 after working in senior positions in the health and public sector for over 20 years and as a consultant working with telehealth and telecare for 4 years. He has a clear understanding of health policy and practice and has worked extensively with buyers, manufacturers and users of telehealth and telecare. Huw has a deep insight in to the benefits of telehealth as he has commissioned telehealth and telecare systems to improve service provision and has been a user of telehealth. He has advised health, social care and community/voluntary sectors in the use of telehealth systems as well as advising a number of manufacturers and service providers.

Caleb Price

A communications fanatic, Caleb has over twenty years’ experience in the electronics industry, encompassing research through to hands-on product design in both the military and commercial sectors.   Chartered with the Institute of Engineering & Technology since 1998, he has played leading roles in developing communications related products and systems, both wired and wireless, while also making contribution to the underlying technology.   More strategic achievements in recent years include active participation of, and key contribution to, the forum responsible for the development of the 2nd generation terrestrial TV standard DVB-T2
