ADI is an independent research and development institute based in Airedale, West Yorkshire.

ADI is committed to help stimulate commercial research and business innovation through direct, hands-on collaborative engagement, adding value by providing advanced research and development support for new technologies.

Incorporated in October 2005, ADI is now focused on becoming an international centre of excellence.

The right people
ADI is geared to provide large-company expertise with credibility and insight. Our team includes a former engineering director of Pace, a former chief technology officer of Filtronic and senior R&D staff and system architects from NDS and other blue chip technology companies. The team also includes a small business expert from Ernst & Young and experts in identification and protection of intellectual property.

Independence
Importantly, ADI is an independent company, able to engage with partners employing a variety of innovative and non-invasive collaboration models. We are an ambitious company staffed with highly qualified, experienced engineers and researchers. We have an aggressively forward-looking and independent board of directors selected from business and academia. Our success and growth is essential if we are to meet our commitments to the businesses we work with.
